When I think of Gurgaon- all I can think about is how that
place is always abuzz with activity and the biggest financial firms-including
the Big Four audit firms (E&Y, Deloitte, KPMG and PwC) situated there.
The new buzz in Gurgaon is the DLF Cyber Hub- home to some of
the best restaurants in town! On any given day, you can see the high-powered
executives in their business suits with their overpriced caramel macchiato!
Anyhow, I digress! I was in the city recently for work and the
memories are still fresh. My company had put me up in this budget hotel, Vista
Park and though I was initially skeptical, all my worries dissipated as soon as
I entered this hotel. As far as hotel deals in Gurgaon go, I think I drew the long straw!
I had a wonderful time- the staff was ever so polite and the
rooms were nice, spacious and really comfortable.
Their restaurant, Angelica, has an extensive menu and I think I
pored over it too long in my indecisive state, finally settling on the Grilled
Garlic Butterfly Prawns with white wine and I have to say, I was not
disappointed!
All-in-all, a truly great experience!
